Plays late in half boost Boilermakers to victory

Eighteen seconds. Three plays. That’s all the Purdue Boilermakers needed in their home opener Saturday.

Tied at 7 with Western Illinois late in the first half, the Boilermakers ended up going into the locker room up 17-7, headed en route to a 31-21 win for Purdue’s first victory of the season. ( Read More…)

Boilermakers move ball, but can’t score in loss

If there is good news coming out of a loss, it’s that Purdue’s 23-12 defeat to Notre Dame looked a lot better than the final score would indicate.

The Boilermakers didn’t get into the end zone until the fourth quarter, and yet Purdue was able to move the ball most of the day against the Fighting Irish. ( Read More…)
