Purdue knocks off Ohio State, 26-18
In what has been a disappointing season for the Purdue Boilermakers, one win may have turned everything around.
Purdue knocked off the heavily-favored No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes, 26-18, in a game that really wasn’t even all that close. The Boilermakers are usually noted for their offense, but it was a strong defensive effort that carried them.
Purdue had just a 9-7 lead heading into the half but scored two unanswered scores in the third quarter for a commanding lead.
